El masaje es más conocido como una forma de ayudarlo a relajarse y aliviar el estrés. Un masaje suave y relajante puede reducir el estrés, aliviar los dolores musculares, mejorar su sueño y mejorar su estado de ánimo. Una sesión de masaje manual terapéutico tiende a centrarse en el área específica que le preocupa, durante un período de tiempo prolongado. Si programa un masaje de 60 minutos, dedicaremos la mayor parte del tiempo a las áreas que le preocupan. Podemos trabajar en una serie de problemas que son crónicos o agudos: - Tensión relacionada con el estrés - Lesiones por posturas sentadas o de pie que se mantienen durante varias horas al día. - Migrañas, dolores de cabeza en racimo, dolores de cabeza tensionales o dolores de cabeza sinusales. - Distensiones y esguinces (una vez que la inflamación ha disminuido). - Dolor lumbar - Trastornos del sueño - Ansiedad - Depresión - Disminución de la frecuencia cardíaca y la presión arterial Más allá de los beneficios para afecciones o enfermedades específicas, algunas personas disfrutan del masaje porque a menudo produce sentimientos de cuidado, comodidad y conexión. Hable sobre los pros y contras del masaje con su médico, especialmente si está embarazada o si tiene cáncer o dolor inexplicable.

CANCELLATION POLICY We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies: • 48 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 48 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. • No-shows: Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged $45 for their “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made. • Arriving late Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.
